Just an (evidently not very sucessful) attempt at humour.

Hence my perhaps equally obscure Victor Lewis Smith comment.

Some years ago I suggested we needed an "irony" smily and suggest an anvil ( = heavy irony) but it attracted no support.

Thank you, I'm relieved. :D

But your post was unnerving:

1. It was entirely plausible from a technical point of view to a non-technical person (q.v. ChatGPT).
2. It almost crossed the line in a be-careful-what-you-wish-for sort of way.
3. It was very close to the bone (given forum politics).

However given the quality of the post from a credibility POV (as opposed I hasten to add as a measure of my gullibility), I'm looking forward to April 1st. :)

You are not authorised to read this forum.
That in itself was very informative, so thank you. :D

Why is forum hard to find from front page?

Post by jimster99 »

Hi,

I noticed that if you go to the front page of the cyclinguk website, the forum link is very poorly advertised, at the bottom of the page with tiny fonts (especially difficult to find on phone). The forum is the main attraction of this site. Why isn't it more prominently advertised? I would think a giant link at the top next to the other main categories would be much more appropriate!
