My new January-sales-bargainous wide-screen TV was delivered today. The volume control doesn't work, which I knew about...75% off RRP

I couldn't turn it down

You were lucky, I got a refund because of non-delivery (from the same supplier presumably) as mine never turned up.

This article in the newspaper...
Why is American chocolate so disgusting? You really don’t want to know...
It tastes like sawdust that’s been drowned in sugar and soaked with baby vomit – and I’ve finally discovered why!

Rishi Runak wants everyone to study maths until they're 18. I only studied it until I was 16 and I don't think another 4 years would have made much difference.

That's reminded me of an old favourite doing the rounds. The first one is particularly relevant:
Australian Worker nicknames

"Wicket keeper" - puts on gloves and stands back
"Harvey Norman" - 3 years no interest
"Grenade" - waiting for him to pull the pin
"Sensor light" - only works if someone walks past
"Blister" - appears when the hard work is done
"Showbag" - full of [inappropriate word removed]
"Seaweed" - floats around all day and stinks
"Lantern" - not very bright, and has to be carried
"Penguin" - always on the ice
"Deck chair" - always folds under pressure
"Tampon" - closest thing to a pussy
"2-stroke" - hard to get started, and always smokes
"Morphine" - slow moving dope
"Bushranger" - holds everyone up

And another that I like:
"Perth" - always 3hours behind everyone else

MODS: feel free to bowlderise if required!
