Ancient Mountain Bike - Lower Pivot Replacement

Post by tneville »

Hi, I have an old MB I've used for daily run-about, need to rebuild and will probably use as spare.

It has rudimentary rear suspension with a lower pivot point and an upper spring.

The lower pivot assembly is well worn and needs replacing as back wheel moves from side to side, struggling to find anything off the shelf.

The bushes outside diameter is 30mm (about, I only measured with a ruler) and is a critical dimension as they are push fit into frame, I guess other dimensions of the assy less critical in context of the bike frame.

Anyone know where these can be got or know any other fixes ?

Don't seem to be able to load a picture of mine, this link takes you to something that is much the same
