It took a lot of reading to drop my psi into the 20s from 40s & mind i have no suspension, the comfort compared to 30s is a significant improvement both on & off the road, an ebike though so rolling resistance is no longer a consideration.
Ill add i saw improvement @ 29 rear 26 front but you wouldn't or i didn't think it, but 3 psi is only a few pumps of the track pump & now @ 26 / 23 it's a revelation.
If you find this to, just don't think of the thousands of miles you've done previously on many a bump & grindstone.
I just won't go further to propa MTB chaps who do 19/17 etc care of my uses require a balance & id guess if your tyres are budget you might add that caution despite the wind, mine are hans dampf.
I also say if you'd like to do more miles regularly but
struggle to, ebikes are great & rapidly getting better & affordable in good condition second hand.
There not as good as a ' propa ' bike mind.
Id say give it a try & see if it works for you.

Re: Tyre pressures
I usually run the rear twice the pressure of the front.
Re: Tyre pressures
I'm a recent convert to tubeless and I definitely would not go back
Re: Tyre pressures
The top end of whatever range is on the tyre. That’s my preference. Feels like I have more control on corners. And more speed on the hard bits. Happy to sacrifice is bit of comfort, padded gloves and shorts for that…tbuckland4 wrote: 28 Aug 2021, 8:37am
This question has probably been asked 100 times, but what pressures do people run on their MTB tyres?
I’m 100+ Kgs though…
Re: Tyre pressures
I'm 80kg. I run about 28 on the rear and 24 on the front with 29 x 2.3 inch with tubes on a hardtail.

ooooh Linus. Somewhat modern there. That will ruffle a few feathers.
