I don't like the new look!
Re: I don't like the new look!
And again. I've re-set to Subsilver2, the new look was giving me eyestrain/headaches.

Admin - many thanks. I've switched to prosilver Special Edition. I have a wide monitor.
Very nice

Purely out of curiosity, what's the paperclip symbol?

It indicates that the post has an attachment.

Those voting for "subsilver2" can change their preferences to view the forum using that style. See the first post in this thread

Subsilver2 gets my vote.

Blue writing on blue background? Difficult.
Writing goes too far to right. Makes me queasy.
Don't like font.
Tried to see difference in your suggestions. Mustn't be doing it right.
Everything seems too troublesome. Think I'll give up.
PS I use about 20 different public computers a week, and need to find things quickly. Can't be messing about with settings.
Don't have internet at home.

Helen, once you've set your account to use the old style, assuming that was more acceptable to you, you'll get that style wherever you log in.
Re: I don't like the new look!
Please tell me the name of the old style. As I type, I see the font is the old style, but when I submit this post, it mutates into hideous new, hard-to-read font.
Re: I don't like the new look!
See the first message in this thread, which I've updated to include a list of the available styles.
You want to set your preferences to use "subsilver2", which is pretty-much what the old forum used.

Re: I don't like the new look!
I'm using prosilver Special Edition theme. The homepage listing is dominated by brightly coloured Simon L6, Si, Graham, Spam Busters - green, red, and pink, all in bold. Graham and others jump out all over the place in bold bright colours on other pages. Without wishing to denigrate anyone, would it be possible to tone these down a bit? I think it's useful to have those names highlighted at the bottom, but elsewhere I'm not so sure. Shouldn't all posters appear the same? They do a great job, but does the board index need to list the moderators for every forum? (they're mostly all the same)
Other than that, a very nice and easy to read Theme, stylishly subdued.
