What are these?
What are these?
Mrs Mick F has been given a pair of these. Both identical, and not mirror images.
They velcro together flat, or make a tube, or individually into two tubes.
Each is just less than the size of an A4 sheet.
We ain't got a clue what they are!
Any ideas?

The older I get the more I’m inclined to act my shoe size, not my age.
Re: What are these?
OH got one like these for Crimbo, appears they’re to put on dressing table surfaces to protect them from hot hair dryers or curlers/straighteners

Re: What are these?
That sounds plausible. Could also be used in the kitchen.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: What are these?
Not suitable for you then, unless you have another use - leg warmers at the next 70s disco.
Sorry Mick.

Seatbelt cushion/covers?
A shortcut has to be a challenge, otherwise it would just be the way. No situation is so dire that panic cannot make it worse.

Seat belt covers.
We’re in Plymouth now having a drinkie before getting the train home.
Mrs Mick F say’s that that seems right.

Makes sense an elephant never forgets so they say. Do they have seat belts on the train. They have them on some of our bus services now.

Re: What are these?
Are they too big to be used as chainstay protectors? Got to have a bike based use. Perhaps over the top of pipe insulation foam tubes on your handlebar like bmx bolts style?

Re: What are these?
No - they're no thicker than wearing a jumper, and I can't say that I'm aware of any research suggesting we shouldn't wear jumpers when using a seatbelt.wirral_cyclist wrote: ↑21 Mar 2023, 5:08pmYes, and they allow a bit more momentum to build up before the belt bites - perhaps enough slack for a short driver to interface with a hard bit of car...
