Rolhoff e14 disc rotor

Hi,has anyone had to change a Magura disc rotor on a Rolhoff E14 speed hub. Mine (new shape circa 2021) is now at 1.8 mm and due a change,it looks as if the rotor can be replaced without removing the control box due to the change in rotor design .I have made a cardboard cutout of the rotor which seems to confirm it can be changed but two Rolhoff dealers can’t confirm if this is correct. Before I commit to hefty replacement costs can anyone in the community give advice.

You have to remove the cable box unless you want to thread the cables and shifter through the disc.....

Edit.....sorry, I have no knowledge of the electric shift....hence I missed the importance of the "E".....

It comes out like that when you take the wheel out? If so, the question is, does the disc pass over the control box or does the box need to come off first.

It's not available, it's also been developed alongside Bosch and Panasonic to work in conjunction with their motors

If you want an alternative to the Rohloff mechanical ring shifter, there are some third party replacements out there. I have the Cinq Shift-R. It may no longer be available separately, only on tout terrain bikes. They also had a system integrated with brakes (SRAM?) a while ago.
