I was looking online for any updates on the Christina Mack hit-and-run incident posted up thread. I couldn't find much about the ongoing police inquiries to trace the driver but this video presents a slightly more optimistic picture of her road to recovery. Its an interview between Christina and local Stornaway journalist Iain Maciver. Let's hope it all goes well and she's soon back on the bike.

A bit more up to date than the interview. Two days ago Christina said
Day 8 in FVRH: The shuffle has progressed from the zimmer to crutches, pain management has been reassessed with the plan to get home to rehabilitate. These 8 days have been the most challenging I have ever experienced, physically & mentally.

There was a tweet yesterday from Christina saying that she had been released from hospital late in the afternoon of the 8th of October and was now recuperating at home.

Presumably they also took a bicycle, some roller skates and a brand new key.

I laugh!

(On a complete tangent, the Wurzels split single with British Sea Power is a thing of wonder)
