I remember watching a 'Devil take the hindmost' race on tv, on a running track rather than a velodrome. This was in the days when bicycle racing on mainstream TV was rare so probably 1980's or 90's. And of course Tony won it.

Sad news, it was only in the last couple of weeks that he popped up in some of the cycling feeds i look at.
Convention? what's that then?
