Thumbs up for Lubbenau in Spreewald, Germany

Have just had an excellent week's cycling holiday in Germany. We based ourselves in Lubbenau which is in the Spreewald area an hour SE of Berlin. Cheap cycle hire, excellent cycle paths, varied scenery, completely flat, plenty of interest off the bikes and some good wildlife including beavers and cranes. We've not got children ourselves but it did strike me as a perfect destination for a family cycling trip.
