Adding photos

Can someone please explain how to add a photo to this forum from iPhone or iPad. If I press on the picture icon I get this come up: [img][img] with the cursor in the middle but then tapping the screen either moves the cursor or if paste does come up, nothing happens. This after copying the photo I want to add. Thanks

Click on the Attachments tab, then the Add files button.

Thanks Jonathan. That inserts a picture but it comes out as a black screen! Original is a jpeg. It’s the post about a Giant Rapid in Complete Bikes For Sale.

Hmmm... are you sure that it's a JPEG and not an HEIC?

Could you also explain how to rotate the images (or link to foolproof guide).
Most of mine are OK, but every now and then they're not...

Having a problem posting first pictures ... help please!

Workflow:

• Download from phone images to PC
  resize and rename in paint.net, both about 200KB
  Drag and drop into edit window
  Added as attachment
  Press view inline
  Add Caption as below

Edit view of the post, removed leading square bracket:
" img]attachment=1]Waldringfield_sunrise_winter_solstice.jpg[/attachment][/img]
Waldringfield via bridleways, sunrise winter solstice.
img]attachment=0]nr_Minsmere_high_summer.jpg[/attachment][/img]
Near Minsmere, high summer"

When I reedit the post the attachments aren't visible at the bottom of the message?
