i carry 29 p flapjacks from home bargains as my goto nibble food, assuming you have eaten properly beforehand if your not doing big distances you shouldnt really bonk
Sunday i did my usual 100 km Plus ride ( 65 miles that morning ) .Brekkie was granola with dried fruit , i took one water bottle which i refilled at the cafe.
Cafe stop was a piece of bought flapjack and a coffee after about 40 miles , then rode home .I didnt need the extra flapjack or the gel which i carry as emergency rations .
