No pedestrian ferry to Orkney

For everyone who take the ferry option via Orkney /Aberdeen at the end of their ride: please be aware that this year there is no ferry from John O'Groats. Luckily I called them yesterday and had the chance to start early this morning and could ride back to Gills Bay after an obligatory finisher coffee in JoG and took the midday ferry there. It only three times a day. So check if it fits to your schedule.
