Netflix 'Tour de France Unchained' documentary

Post by LucyEliz »

Are others enjoying the Netflix take on the TdF? I am actually re-watching the first series, having just enjoyed the second series so much. It's very 'Netflixy' and there's a fair bit of repetition but still very enjoyable. I liked it principally because I learned more about how team dynamics work. Also v interesting to see the personalities on show, esp the directeurs sportifs.

Absolutely - I've just worked my way through series 1, now on series 2. Some good insights, and useful preparation for this year's race.

I might try that… hope its full of grainy, jerky b&w footage of Tommy Simpson, Eddy Merckx et al. Ken Burns would get it right, I’m sure!
