How dare he attack our Prime Minister Sir Kier.(only we UK registered voters are allowed to do that.)I thought it was fake news his posting of a conspiracy in USA to allow minorities and wipe out people of white origin.Which would be totally insane. However he is saying Ukraine will win the war and supporting Trump.

I am instigating a personal ban on his cars.(the fact I cycle and do not have car and can not afford one of his is incidental).

When I spend money or enable others to make money from my activities I try to think and decide carefully as to what happens to that money. So I'd never but a Tesla because I don't want the profits from the sale to go to an imbecile who then funds the likes of Trump and other right wing organisations, who accuses innocent individuals of being paedophiles based on no evidence just and then uses that wealth to protect himself, etc.

And participating in Twitter helps Musk make money (or not lose so much money) so it's something I can avoid and do avoid.

It's a principle I try and operate by but not 100% eg I do purchase from/through amazon on occasions where I can't find the product elsewhere for comparable pricing. For UK 3rd party sales I do try and find the company and purchase direct but it's not always possible.

But for the likes of Twitter and Facebook I can and do avoid and suspect my life is also the better for it.

That X is looking more like a swastika to me as each day passes. Musk has gone from a billionaire with a weakness for bickering on social media, to a billionaire with a weakness for promoting extreme libertarian / far right views in other countries, including our own. Using X is siding with the Devil and I won't be doing that, or buying one of his cars. All it takes for evil to prevail is for good men and women to do nothing, as somebody once nearly said.

Regulatory action
Governments have been far too weak. International co-operation is essential, and we now have a government that may find that easier. The response to the riots will bring this to the sticking point.

Thanks.
Next time I book a bike, I'll try it on Avanti.
Though I'm wondering if I'll be able to show my face in polite company again...

I’ve tried a couple of times to ignore X. Opened a Mastodon account found a few of the guys in there I followed on X and still struggle to find anything. Navigation isn’t as simple and the content that I can find not as interesting.
I find using a dm on X to companies a far better use of my time than hanging on a phone line listening to music and counting down my position in a queue.
Whatever I am, wherever I am, this is me. This is my life

This was an interesting radio 4 show today about twitter etc and the fact Musk may be facing criminal charges for posting certain stuff on twitter not only as a just poster but may have much more liability as an owner.
