'Exotic' carbon or alloy fork

Post by SimonCelsa »

Very long shot I know but does anyone have a carbon or alloy fork manufactured by 'Exotic' that they no longer use and would like to sell at a bargain price.

It is for my winter work bike and is to replace a hefty cheap suspension fork.

Something like this, with V brakes, 26" wheel, 44 cm axle to crown.......

thanks in wild anticipation, cheers.

I have a Thorn carbon fork, unused, for V brakes and a 26” wheel.
I can check precise measurements in a few days if you’re interested.

The A-C measurement of 44cm (approx) is basically for a suspension corrected fork so if the Thorn fork is close to this then yes, I could be interested, obviously dependent on price

I’ll check when I’m home.
They were supplied as an alternative to steel on a Thorn frame I built up, but I used a steel pair instead!
I can’t find a picture or details online but they are black(!) with an uncut carbon steerer.

I need the slightly longer fork but interested in why you went with a steel fork instead of the carbon? Was it to do with the lack of pannier lugs on the carbon?
I am here. Where are you?

I would imagine it would not be quite 'high' enough but I appreciate you having a look see. Colour is immaterial, I only ride the winter bike in the dark for around 15 miles per day!!

Thanks, Simon
