Track League

Post by pjclinch »

I've been enjoying this again, last night tonight from London, no surprises it's been Matt Richardson Vs Harrie Lavreysen for top honours on men's sprint but many good performances from others too.
Women's sprint has been an amazing debut from young Russian (riding as neutral) Alina Lysenko who's well out in front of an excellent field.
Endurance, previous winners Katie Archibald and Dylan Bibic ought to have things sewn up, but it's not over until it's over.

Well worth a look in on a stormy evening if you like a bit of track action.

Pete.

Thanks Paul, unfortunately I've unsubscribed since they put up the subscription. :(

Bad crash tonight with riders going over the screen into the crowd.
Not seen anybody offer the reason but it looked to me as if their handlebars interlocked maybe.
Katy Marchant has a broken fiorearm and it seems everyone else got off lightly.

One of those where I flinched seeing it happen was glad the TV producer pointedly didn't replay it. I think KM may have been lucky with "only" a broken forearm :(

Rather overshadowed Katie Archibald winning the ladies' Endurance and Harrie with 9 fingers on the men's sprint trophy in what had up until then been good racing.
