Post by Tunny0 »

Hello there I'm at a loss so wouldn't if any experts have any idea what's going on with my bike

Everything has been working like it should up until last 2 days by bike wouldn't assist when peddling it would randomly cut out then come back on again but now it's totally gone everything on the bike works like it should apart from peddle assist and the accelerator lever, I have taken a couple of pictures of the display screen and also the bike and the serial number but I don't have a clue how to add them from my phone if anybody could guide me through on how to do it I will add them straight away many thanks

Faults can often be cured by resetting the BMS "battery management system"
A simple fix before having to investigate further. Google BMS reset.

Try posting on the Pedelecs site, https://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/
There are some really helpful experts there. As with most sites also quite a few 'noise' posts.

Make sure all the connections are really pushed very firmly home. In particular there is probably one on the motor cable about 50cm from the motor. Pull that out and push back in, making sure it is really pushed right in to the line. (That will probably also be the initial response on the pedelecs site.)
