I was hoping someone could tell me how a bike reservation is shown on French train tickets? It's an intercite de nuit booked via the Trainline (because SNCF connect thinks I'm a bot and locked me out)
I've definitely been charged for the reservation but there's nothing on the e tickets about the bike and I don't completely trust the Trainline (given I had a ticket alert set up and they didn't tell me this route was on sale until there was only one bike space left!). Given there IS only one bike space left on the train I feel like I should kick off now if it's missing, but maybe it's just included in the QR code? Any help appreciated!
Also, if anyone wants to explain the Paris to Calais train situation to me like I'm a tired five year old, please feel free to do so. I think the gist is take TERs via Amiens, so you don't need to book in advance.
Bike reservation shown on French train tickets?
Re: Bike reservation shown on French train tickets?
My last SNCF trip with a bike reservation was on the TGV in 2022, and my e-ticket mentions "Service included : Vélo 10,00 EUR". This was purchased through the Trainline.
IIRC @MrsHJ has taken her bike on the Intercites de Nuit so hopefully she'll see this and can share her experience
Regarding Paris-Calais TER trains, yes you go via Amiens. No reservations required.
