Press are reporting the scrapping of import tariffs on bikes from China. Part of the agreement after the China visit.

Which UK manufacturers? If tariffs fall on parts, that would help manufacturers increase profits. Or provide better value for consumers. Tariffs are one of the main reasons why decently spec'd bikes in the UK (and Europe) are pricy, and the entry-level pricing is artificially lifted.

Brompton may be a special case, but they actually have a market in China. They have a poor excuse if their financial position is really this weak.
