So it's come to the parting of the ways for me and the Grasshopper.
In the four months I've had it I've adapted to or overcome some issues. However I've had to admit defeat regarding the seat recline.
Despite making brackets to try to make it more vertical, adding cushions, and trying to adapt myself to it, it's just not for me.
It's a pity, as it's a well made, well finished, manoevreable bike of which I'd had high hopes. The recline just saps whatever power I have in comparison with my other bikes.
Time to let someone more suited to the sporty recline get the benefit of it, methinks. It's now in the For Sale section.
