AZUB recumbent rally

Post by Grldtnr »

AZUB hold a cycle rally every 5 years, this year is the 25th year of the founding of the company, which is based in Uhesky Brod, Czchenia,
This year's celebration will be held fist week in September '25 , I am considering going as it's unlikely it'll make the next one in 2030.

But seeing as I own a AZUB Tri-Tris trike, my options are limited, rail or Air travel being the easiest, but seems likely I will need to drive, it's .near enough 1,000 miles to get there,
Maybe ,I could cycle there ,but it be a month there, and a month back.
None of the options seem acceptable, but the driving one the least hassle.

A vague hope , in suggestions to get there, Uhesky Brod is towards the Austrian border,

Likewise my ride is T-Tris, so no chance of air or rail travel :(
i'd rather spend a week riding than driving my trike somewhere!

I 've yet to make the commitment to go, but it's unlikely I will make the 2030 rally if there is one, rail might be possible , but getting the trike on trains ,even folded, might be a problem ,as all luggage will need to be off.
Car orvin extreme cycling might be possible but itsxaclong, long way.
Driving is probably the best option.

Did you go? Wasn't aware of this and if I'm still around and kicking think I'd like to go. Hope they survive as a company because they make nice bikes.

Sadly not! I just couldn't make the commitment to go, but I have 5 years to make the next one , if I am still able.
