Lidl Ultimate Speed cordless tyre pump - very brief review

German link here but Google Translate seems to work fine.

Last time I looked our local Lisl still had some in stock.

Briefly, only used once; inflated a tyre from flat to full pressure.
Worked well and swiftly.
It claims to have capacity for 2 tyres. but reported nearly flat battery after one.
However battery reported recharged remarkably quickly.
The light (torch) is possibly useful but I didn't consider this when purchasing.

I bought this more out of curiosity than anything else.
I was really looking for a drill type inflator which would take my existing batteries, but Lidl hasn't got this in stock at the moment.

Cautious recommendation for those who don't have a track pump, or who are getting old/lazy.
A little bulky to carry on the bike, but might be a better option than the tiny portable pumps everyone seems to have these days.
I liked the fact that I could use it with the bike up on a wall rack or a work stand without having to contend with the length of tube on my track pump.

A tiny portable pump won't run out of battery juice though :)
