While we're on the subject of Mahle, I see Pashley now have a few Reynolds steel ebikes based on the newish Mahle X20 and X30 hub motors (updated version of the X35):

The frames are apparently made in the UK factory and look tastefully retro. Hard to tell from the photos, but the bikes don't appear to have the Mahle PF bottom bracket w/torque sensor, at least not on the X30 models. Maybe a way to keep it simple and less pricey? Less sure about the CF forks, but the bikes look like an interesting alternative to Ribble's aluminium-framed ebikes (think I read somewhere that the new CEO of Pashley is the former CEO of Ribble). The flat-barred Pathfinder E looks particularly smart, like an electric Rivendell almost.
