I saw one of these units fitted to a bike today and thought it was some new fangled hefty tyre dynamo.
It turns out it's a motor helping to power the back wheel.

I suspect it's similar to the Rubbee. Small battery capacity, not weather resistant, drive wheel issues. The Rubbee had quality issues and poor customer service. Amazon USA has only 2 reviews of the Pikaboost, both negative.
