Veloskin Chamois Cream

Some time in the latter part of last year, I purchased a 150Ml tin of this product from The Mud Dock in Bristol.
It was not cheap at fourteen pounds.
I stopped using it some while back because it is far too dry and simply flakes when you try to rub it in.
No amount of working it with your fingers improves it and you end up with it on the floor.
There is no use by date on the tin.
Has anyone else had similar problems with this product.
