Millyard Mountain Bike

Post by jimlews »

I am not usually interested in downhill racers; serendipitous roughstuff being more my thing.
But this is outstanding IMHO
and an illustration of what can be achieved in a well equipped home workshop.

Video is 5mins long.

I post this as an innocent bystander.
The MODs will have to decide whether it constitutes advertising.

I love the notion of the chain running in oil within the chainstay !

That guys a legend in the motorcycling world and now a celebrity of several tv series fame - I've been a big fan for many years. Phenomenal engineer.

Smart!
There's a recumbent, the Flevobike Greenmachine, which had a similar drive setup with a one-sided swinging arm enclosing the chain and gears (IIRC a Rohloff) enclosed at the pivot point.
