At the early stages of looking at LEJOG in 2026. Has anyone done the EEC? If so would you recommend it? Early days but looking at taking it easy 60ish miles a day.

Finished it last week. A fantastic route and the added bonus of it's generally dryer on the east side. I actually met a few people who were going up the west side and came over to the east as it was much dryer.
I did it over 19 days cycling between 50 - 80 miles to tie in with accommodation. Could have easily shaved a few days off but I wasn't in a rush
Never found it particularly hard but weather was fantastic and I took my time. Took a jetboil with me to make brews when I wanted and brought baguettes cheese ham etc so I could have picnics beside rivers lakes etc rather than sat in cafes.
