Drop me a PM.

Someone on the Dawes Kingpin Facebook group which uses 500 A tyres keeps his rolling by refurbishing them with a 3mm rubber strip glued inside the tyre carcass using carpet glue. I can't vouch for this so do so at your peril. It could keep you going.
Have you thought about changing to a 451 wheel where the choice of tyres is much better.
I hope your 440 rim is aluminium not the steel ones you find on kingpin shoppers.

Its for my Recently acquired 'Peer Gynt' ' ,so pretty specific size because of the hydraulic brakes.
I might try 438 tyre size.
If push comes to shove, I'll reluctantly replace with a different combo on a hub brake.
Or I'll just pass it on , I don't think it's a keeper for me, especially if I can't get tyres & tubes.

Good suggestion and they might be worth a call but on their website only the wider size is in stock.

Don’t fret, it’s OK to: ride a simple old bike; ride slowly, walk, rest and admire the view; ride off-road; ride in your raincoat; ride by yourself; ride in the dark; and ride one hundred yards or one hundred miles. Your bike and your choices to suit you.
