Haven't the Israelis already blasted the surface structures? If so, there may be no easy access to what is below, even if the underground facility is untouched so far. If I had a job there, I'd be sending a sick note for the next few weeks. If I lived near to it, I'd be moving out, because a radiation leak is a possibility.rjb wrote: 19 Jun 2025, 7:04pm Will trump authorise the use of bunker busting bombs on the nuclear sites. The longer he leaves it the Iranians have a chance to move there stockpile of enriched possibly bomb grade uranium to safer sites. A football sized amount is all one needs for a bomb. I think he will offer talks to Iran to allow inspection of the sites but if they prevaricate and stall he will strike.
On the balance of probabilities I wouldn't wait.![]()

Starting at around 7 mins in, Mr Stewart lists a few dodgy dossier instances starting at 2012!

The first guaranteed to get you a bullet, the second may also have been proscribed. At Evin jail the family had to pay for the execution bullet and attend the event.

Re: Trump
So, Trump's "within 2 weeks" was just what he meant -- "WITHIN". Was it a ploy to ensure that he could attack before the Iranians felt forced to "negotiations" aka "unconditional surrender"? They may have taken it as a 2 week window.
Deliberately chosen wording and a clever ploy IMO.
I expect some form of regime change, internal conflict, in Iran, which will be reduced to another failed state.
US (and fervent supporter UK) will finally get revenge for overthrow of its puppet regime 45 years ago.
Whole lotta oil and pride at stake......

The poodle is already poodlin'. There's an (admittedly faint) praise for Trumpit with a token nod (with no expectation that it'll be acknowledged) to the desperate demand by other heads of state around the globe for diplomacy. The UK will soon become complicit, as it already is in the Israeli genocide, via weapon sales and the failure to do anything at all to bring Nettyahoo to a cessation of his evil acts. Iraq MkII seems imminent.reohn2 wrote: 22 Jun 2025, 6:04pmEven the Poodle?Bonefishblues wrote: 22 Jun 2025, 5:46pmI think DJT will have enormous difficulty getting support, even with his closest (or what used to be) allies.reohn2 wrote: 22 Jun 2025, 5:27pm And so it begins again, the USA dictates war and the UK will follow suit.

Starmpot could make the case that he's between the rock and the hard place. If he doesn't keep stroking Trumpit, that mad dog will possibly turn to bite him and Blightedland. But Trumpit is likely to do that anyway, eventually, in some shape or form. It would seem more politic to abandon hope in the USA and to turn to Europe - not that that's likely to generate any great success at anything either.
Doom gathers. I would store up tins of beans and packets of groat but even if a bunker was also dug, doom'll get us all anyway. Best get as much cycling done as possible whilst we still can!

Almost amusing that while Iran must never be allowed nuke stuff and that its people should be freed from a brutal tyrannical regime, no such policy applied to N Korea. Yet. If only I could think of a reason......

Re: Trump
China would have rather a lot to say about it if Trump dropped his big bombs on North Korea (their convenient neighbour). The USA might have the very best weapons in the World right now but give China ten years and the gap between the two will be small. Air superiority is what matters most in terms of destruction, but boots on the ground are eventually needed. China has a very large population and a surplus of men (well no wives for them), and they can build pretty much anything at a rate that’s much faster than the western world can.djnotts wrote: 22 Jun 2025, 7:14pm ^ what Cugel says. I’m ever hopeful that the EU will engage brain and see us back into the fold. The surprisingly popular Mr Farage however has other plans and so we’re likely to become an asset of the USA - madness.
Don’t fret, it’s OK to: ride a simple old bike; ride slowly, walk, rest and admire the view; ride off-road; ride in your raincoat; ride by yourself; ride in the dark; and ride one hundred yards or one hundred miles. Your bike and your choices to suit you.

"Yes" and "yes and no". Idiots not quite right. They know where this is heading but don't care - they think they'll be fine - rich beyond but in a "bunker" seems somehow a success.reohn2 wrote: 23 Jun 2025, 9:48am Cugel, djnotts, much the same as I thought.
