Registering an Account
If you wish to post (add) a message to the forum, you will need to register first: Register Here.
Once you have registered, you need to Log In to have access to post messages.
Posting a Message on a new topic
Once you have completed registration, you can start new threads ('topics') and post replies on existing threads.
To start a thread, choose the appropriate board, e.g. 'Bikes and Bits' or 'Touring & Expedition' etc., and click on the 'New Topic' button (on the left hand side of the page at both the top and bottom of the page).
Replying to Existing Messages
Similarly, to post a reply on an existing thread, open the thread and click on the 'Post Reply' button (on the left hand side of the page at both the top and bottom of the page).
Message Guidelines
We recommend that you read the general guidelines/rules for posts before posting.
If you wish to use the small ads boards to buy or sell, read the additional guidelines pinned to the top of the relevant board before posting.
Moderation
The board has volunteer human moderators, who keep an eye on messages to make sure the forum remains a pleasant place to discuss things.
To prevent spam and other unwanted messages from new users, your first few messages will be checked manually by moderators before they are published. When you have demonstrated that you are a bona-fide user your account will be approved to post messages straight away without pre-moderation.
