Worlds Junior men RR (spoiler)

Post by pjclinch »

Chapeau! to the new World Junior Road Race champion GB's Harry Hudson!

That was a much more interesting watch than the U23 women yesterday, which until quite close to the end was just people falling out the back of the bunch until a final showdown, but the junior men had breaks and attacks and chases etc. which made for more interesting viewing, including a very well deserved solo break victory.

Pete.

Very impressive and younger than my kids! Signed to Lidl trek development for next year.

Zoe Backstedt did very well too although I only saw clips of the race.

Predictable for the men’s but pogi is the best rider in the men’s peloton and I prefer that the title sits with him as he shows the rainbow bands in the top races. In previous years that’s occasionally not been the case.

I need to watch the women’s elite race as that was more of a surprise result.
