Paul's still ghosting folk after taking their money, I see.
Was planning a lengthy review but not really necessary. All you need to know is he's had my frame over 24 months now. Course fees and materials paid up front, £3k. Was supposed to have been painted then sent to me; never arrived. Ghosted me like has with many other customers. CCJ issued in my favour against him.
Currently weighing up my next steps. In the meantime, since Google Reviews no longer shows my (or any other) post about EB, thought it worthwhile posting here seeing as people on forums/YouTube are still being told he's legit.
Caveat emptor/steer well clear!

Paul Gibson is a liar
Paul Gibson is a liar. He’s had my frame for 18 months and I’ve had no communication. He’s had £600 off me. Don’t trust this man. It’s criminal behaviour.

Re: Ellis Briggs criticised in Guardian
These are the latest Trustpilot reviews on Paul at Ellis Briggs Cycles.
I did a course in October 2025 and payed just over £4000 in materials and expenses as i travelled from London to do the course.
Sadly since doing the course I have lost communication with Paul Gibson and I keep getting fed pushbacks from a new guy called Matt.
Paul has not replied to emails, texts and calls.
Do not use in any way possible.......
If i dont hear back this month i will have to take it to court.

I get pushed his Facebook page (self described as "digital creator") from time to time. Seems to have gone quiet in January.

Good for you maybe you should do the same again as his behaviour quite frankly beggars belief and he has been doing it for years and he does not care who he steals money from.

He seems to have plenty of time for doing videos, maybe not sorting out issues for paying customers

Re: Ellis Briggs criticised in Guardian
This is doubly ironic because he was the one complaining about "the new breed" of framebuilders who had Instagram likes and YouTube channels but who weren't (in his eyes) "proper" framebuilders.fastpedaller wrote: 12 May 2026, 1:43pm He seems to have plenty of time for doing videos, maybe not sorting out issues for paying customers
Now he's trying to copy that method of getting some exposure.

I'm struggling too. He's had my old, loved frame for re-enamelling since December. When I went to the shop there was nobody there, but the frame was in the window! Next door said he had been there that week. I've sent two letters before legal action and am just about to take the next step. But amazingly, he's publishing online today, on a forum (Patreon) that requires payment to read. What can we do? He's giving the industry a bad name.
