The BBC and EBU reviewed AI bot accuracy in a multi-platform international study. It's not good.

So if I want to know the calorific value of Tesco Cumberland sausages independently of the nutrition label where would I get from, other than sending a sample to a lab for testing? And at what cost?

If you want to know what the level of PFAS is in every product in your supermarket trolley do you send them all to a lab for testing before you eat them, or do you just assume that the trading standard and public health measures that are in place do an adequate job?

Let's all go back to paper!

Ps.
The lower part of the link posted (small print) I try and fail to get rid of.
It doesn't show in either typing box or when pasted into "notes".
It's hidden from me and I see (no pun etc) that as a problem with the whole house of lousy cards.
I think the long link in small font has been added by admins to all posts to get around scammers who hide links in text.
Iff the forum gets a cyber attack now there's two targets in every single link.
The small print has infested the forum like .....

a fungus.
It's a mess, and I don't see why.

I've been using this forum in one form or another for 20+ years, and I'm not aware that I've ever seen any links to scam sites in that time. Either way, I wouldn't buy anything via a link on here though.

I had a long argument with Co-pilot when it adamantly insisted that BBC R4 transmitters don't, and never have, broadcast the World Service during the night. I just wanted to know whether a switch-off this week was permanent penny-pinching or temporary maintenance. (Google got it right first hit, and linked the maintenance page on the BBC website.)
