Is there a phone app that allows me to plan a journey in the UK using all forms of public transport.
I use Traveline on my laptop but there doesn't seem to be a Playstore app.

Google Maps app. Choose your destination, hit "Directions" then choose the public transport tab. In my experience it's the best at providing accurate scheduled times for train and bus services.

Re: Traveline
Another vote for Google Maps app, it's the most consistently good across the country.
There are some places with their own regional solutions, London being the obvious one where the TfL Go app is more targeted.
However the Google Maps app will also include hire bike and e-scooter options so in London it'll cover Lime, Forest, Dott etc whereas the TfL app will only give info for Santander Cycles.

Agree about Google Maps and the TfL planner.
I haven't used it but there are lots of recommendations for Citymapper:

I don't feel the need for a single app for all modes across the UK. When I make the big decisions it will be with paper maps and a computer with a big screen. And when it's narrowed down I'm happy to use local or provider-specific apps.
