Just browsing through this (having cribbed some of the original Wimps route for my own back in 2020).
I remember all too well that scary descent in wind and rain and the sanctuary of a marvellous cafe and a lavish ‘full Scottish’ at Strathdearn (having checked out of my hotel bored with the endless wait for breakfast). Looking out at the rain and lingering over repeated coffees - that’s a memory.

It was a really good route. I’d love to repeat it….
