We were discussing the new solar panels that are apparently on sale in Lidl etc., that can be used on balconies.
A very intelligent friend on of ours said "How does that save on electricity then, if they've got to be plugged into the mains?"

In my mail this morning I had an unsolicited advert inviting me to take 'Breakfast at the Ritz'.

Of course - I, and all other cyclists would love to do this , if only they had better bicycle racks.

Are you going under the Mersey. The Queensway tunnel was open to cyclists outside of peak times.

I didn't have to cos I came up the Wirral side ie the Birkenhead side from Ellesmere port. The beeline took me straight there and mostly away from all the crazy traffic. Brilliant ! ... you could say I'm impressed.
