Went 2 years ago, was going this year, booked accommodation, but had to cancel before the tickets became available.
We had torrential thunderstorms at the lunch stop on the 65km on the Sat, queuing up for our feed, been stormy all morning, the heavens truly opened, the water cascaded off the roof of the marquee, and onto our half filled food trays, so that our sausage and potatoes were floating in water. The only shelter was a tiny marquee prob 10 foot square, with 3 musicians playing to a soaked audience of about 30 people, not ideal for someone suffering from claustrophobia.Got back to the ‘party’ slightly worse for wear, about 5pm, I think there were 9 feeding stations, all providing you with ‘ a little something’ and a glass of wine, that’s 9 glasses of wine! and they say in their leaflet ‘ drink responsibly’
