Sixty miles for 60 years

Post by Foz »

Raising funds for less fortunate kids.

Sixty years ago, I was amongst 600 Trinity School boys who moved from the austere Victorian buildings in central Croydon to the school’s palatial new facilities at Shirley Park.

Then, as now, the school had an outstanding academic record. It offered Government-funded places for talented children to study alongside fee-paying students but, when that system was phased out in the 1970s, the Trinity Bursary scheme was established to help less fortunate kids get a first-class education.

In September, I'll be riding a 60-mile loop from my home in Bournemouth to help the Bursary fund give today’s youngsters the same opportunities that I had during my time at Trinity in the 1960s.

I’d be thrilled if you could support me with a donation via my fundraising page at https://gofund.me/10b3ecda8

Thank you.
