If as rareposter says, Chain wear is critical on E bikes, then why are we manufacturing chains from poor quality steel which isn't fit for purpose?
Your bike has a CUES drivetrain which uses what Shimano call LinkGlide. It's a far more durable drivetrain than the original HyperGlide, it was developed specifically for e-bikes (although it's also found a home on a lot of entry level hybrids, road bikes, gravel bikes etc cos it's broadly very simple and widely cross compatible).
It uses an 11sp chain - the Cube seems to come with a KMC one rather than the original Shimano one but it's all compatible, it shouldn't make any difference. Contrary to popular belief, 11sp is the best option for durability because it can flex more than a cheap heavy old 7sp thing and it's got tighter engineering tolerances and better materials..
A few points:
Chains are consumable items, no matter how well you treat them, they will eventually wear out and trying to extend that life is a false economy. Part of the Bosch service interval stuff on the app is a reminder to check the chain because mid-drive e-bikes wear chains more quickly than unpowered bikes, especially if you're just leaving it in a high gear and relying on the motor to do the work.
Lubrication remains a critical part of chain care. Any chain, no matter how good, will suffer very quickly if it is run dry or with poor lube.
Buy good quality, legitimate chains from known reliable shops that have direct Shimano accounts. Fake chains (from the likes of AliExpress etc) are unfortunately rife and they are appalling - they can wreck the entire drivetrain in very short order but people see a chain at discount price and go "ooh, bargain!" No, it is not, it will be a nightmare to use and it'll wear out rapidly.

I believe you bought your bike secondhand, is that correct? It does leave you open to a bit more risk if the previous owner neglected their drivetrain in any way.
Re the chainguard - take the thing off. It's a horrible lump of plastic designed to stop your trouser legs getting caught and doing absolutely nothing to protect the chain from dirt. It's wholly unnecessary and (as you've found) just makes replacing the chain bloody difficult!
Hope that's useful.
