SOLD Luxe Minipeak II tent

I have too many tents so am letting this one go.

It's a Luxe Minipeak II. Great tent, can just about fit the bicycle in the porch while the 1-person inner is installed. A separate 2-person inner can also be fitted.

You'll need a pole of some sort. A trekking pole is fine.

I have one of these Luxe tents, it’s brilliant! Extremely light and can fit a bike in the porch area.
If you miss buying this, more fool you because you won’t get a better tent for cycle touring at that price.
You only have to Google the tent to see what a fantastic item this is.

And I should add that this very tent appears in my book Lost Lanes Central England.

I found it a great tent for solo cycle touring. Very simple and fast to put up and take down. You can store a bicycle inside the porch (just). You can use it with or without the inner. Without the inner it's enormous inside - plenty of room for two people if needed - and a two-person inner is available separately.

It has two doors for good air flow. The fabric is more durable than the current line up of ultralight tents but the tent plus inner only weighs 1.5kg. You can use a stick for a pole to save even more weight, or suspend the apex from a tree branch with a bit of cord to avoid using a pole entirely.

There’s nothing like personal recommendation though, of course, what works for a relatively small women might not work for a relatively tall man. The model is still available new and has been around for a long time, which is probably a good sign. The video (link in OP) is interesting; I claim no expertise but the tent looks like a simple and effective overnight shelter that’s easy to put up.

I’ve often wondered why pyramid tents aren’t more popular, there’s probably no particularly good reason and for the price asked the Minipeak seems worth a punt to me. Wishing the OP well with their sale.

I like the idea of the design of this tent ie the Luxe Minipeak II tent but is there a tent like this only made with heavier material and the fly comes closer to the ground to stop wind getting under?
