18" Wheel bikes for charity

[robert17]

Hello, I've been asked to help source around six 18" wheel bikes of good quality for a community cycling project in Hereford. There is a budget, however with a good quality such bike being £300 plus, this is too far. Does anyone know of anyone/anywhere who could help acquire some for less by any legal means..... Thank you, Robert.

Facebook market place often have good secondhand Frogs and Isla's.

If it is just for play purposes many others might do, but could come with a heavy maintenance cost.

For going any distance a decent bike is nearly always better.

There has been an improvement in the quality of childrens bikes from other manufacturers in recent years, with pre owned examples of leading makes such as Dawes, Ridgeback, Trek, Specialised and others.

There is a suppplier in Winchester called Piper, who has a website, but these may be a bit pricey, but worth a look.

Thank you both.
