I ridden up there on many an occasion, and my hands have remained as un-hairy as ever.
Wot's goin' on?

I read the Wikipedia article with interest and was most disapointed to learn that the official investigation did not confirm that a pair of hairy hands were indeed to blame for the accidents. Clearly an official cover up! Is Mick F part of the conspiracy?

Who? Me?
Not me guv - never heard of 'em!
Anyway, it says in the article:
........ the Hairy Hands are a pair of disembodied hands that appear suddenly, grab at the steering wheel of a moving car or the handlebars of a motorcycle, and then force the victim off the road. .......
No mention of bicycles!
BTW, as it happens, today I'm off to meet a couple of LEJOGers and escort them onto Dartmoor (weather permitting). I must warn them to watch out for out of control cars and motorbikes!

I was thinking of wild-camping on the moors later this summer. I'm now having second thoughts, they might get into my tent in the night
