Wishing everyone a wonderful 2010!

Post by Manx Cat »

I am going to do the Happy New Year bit now.

I hope you all have a wonderful fantastic night, and for those of you like me, staying at home indoors, I hope you are all warm and snug and that you are looking forward to some ace cycling in the near future.

Its a bit early, but as I do not celebrate it as anything special, I shall be certainly asleep by midnight. Chas is playing his Sax in Town with the band, and I never feel like being in the crowd without him, so I always end up a Saxophone Widow on New Years Eve. Dont mind one bit. No hangover for me, and its my last day of the holidays tomorrow. So wanna get up early and get out there.

My eldest is staying over at a friends house, so its just ROsie and I. We intend to watch a film in bed with the eleccie blanket on, Dhoona my Boudoir cat on the bed and a glass of wine for me, and lemonade for Rosie. SO an early night intended.

So to everyone - have a Happy New Year from me, and the bike. May all your cycling adventures be dry ones with tail winds, and may your bodies keep well and those pedals keep a turnin' for at least the coming year ahead.

All best

Mary

.... and a Happy New Year from me too!

Rotten cold at the mo. Hopefully by midnight it will have gone - or at least I won't be able to tell!

A happy new year to you too Mary , and to everyone else as well.
I'll be pottering about as usual tonight until late in the evening when I'll be seeing the new year in with lots of friends. I love new year far more than Christmas. I enjoy the lack of hype and the simplicity of it. I love the countdown to an arbitrary moment when we all look forward to a new beginning and wish each other good times ahead. I also like that the new year starts with lots of kissing :D

Have a great 2010.

Yes, hippy-new-year all.

And remember to get some miles in tomorrow - it could be the only time that you manage a 100miles per day average for the year (unless you are eileithyia)
