I loaded a small graphic image on my profile - it is 5kb - but when I tried a test posting as a trial it did not appear. I thought it would appear under the text. Could you tell me what I have done wrong please.

Similar type problem, I attempt to load an avatar from a URL (about 9k, less than 80 x 80) and I'm presented with:
Unable to upload file
DEBUG MODE
Line : 251
File : usercp_avatar.php
The url for the file is http://www.edobrain.homecall.co.uk/imag ... symbol.jpg
Thanks
Ed

Jac, do you mean an avatar, or an image in your signature?
The url for the file is http://www.edobrain.homecall.co.uk/imag ... symbol.jpg
The image in that link exceeds the maximun pixel size AND the maximum file size for an Avatar
"Max file size : 6144 bytes Max Dimensions : 80 x 80 pixels" . . . . which I posted in my announcement.
Could you try with an image file within the constraints ??
Best Regards

Admin - I tried to load an Avatar. In my computer the small logo is only 1kb and 12 pixels but the page where I can make my profile keeps saying that it exceeds the size. I have tried making it smaller and smaller but it still wont accept it.
As I understood it the little logo would appear under my text - but I might have got it wrong.
It is very frustrating - please help

So it does.
I have a smaller version I'm using on another forum - I thought it was the very same image. In that case, I wonder where I put it?
