The spring is used to keep the washers apart when not in use. ukdoger is sorting one out. I've quite enjoyed the project somthing different to play with. and heat treating big washers made from gauge plate, lots of smelly smoke from hot oil.

I was thinking more like onion fritters, my mum used to make them, two slices of potato with a slice of onion in between then dipped in batter, not that I'm suggesting she used EP90's for cooking

Ah Kwackers, I wonder if I've seen you around Warrington?
Warrington was picked up from Lancashire and dropped into Cheshire in I think 1974. (well, not literally). I worked for the Chief Constable of the Local Borough Police force during part of the 60s and it was Lancashire then, and proud of it!!!!!!!!!
