Reply Bug?

Whenever I reply to a post, the subject field is blank and does not contain the subject to which I was replying.

I know it appears when I post the reply, but it's a bit disconcerting and shouldn't happen, should it?

It's a feature of the board software. You can have a different subject for your reply, like I've used here.
