Derby CTC Rides

Post by AlbionLass »

As there seems to be no thread here at the moment for Derby DA I'll take it upon myself as the upstart that I am to post a link to the list of upcoming rides and other information for Derby CTC.

I can vouch for the fact that Derby CTC are a very welcoming group for riders of wide abilities. Anyone is welcome and of course we have some of the nicest scenery and most varied rides in the country (ok I'm biased).

88 readers and plenty of them have followed the link judging from the increased traffic on the website. So despite the lack of comment (Is that good or bad?) your post has not been ignored :D
Maybe there'll be a few other visits to the website now there's some new pictures uploaded.
And of course as Albion Lass said, all welcome on the rides and socials.

Thanks for the link.

I particularly liked the cafe list and will try some of these cafes out on day rides.

Derby DA consists of three member groups, Alfreton, Derby and Burton. You'd be welcome at all three though Burton is probably your most local.

I'm new to the CTC and would like to join the Derby CTC ride to Mountsorrel on Sunday. Could you confirm it is going ahead. Mike

I only wish I was local for the Alfreton section, it looks a really good club to be in, Sunday,Tuesday and Wednesday evening rides, also organise Audax events which I am into. Would love to be with them, great when retired, all we get is Sunday runs once a week, impromtu rides on B.H.Mondays and no one turns up.
