Looks like a good read. I think much of todays males miss out on the feel good factor of working with your hands. When you see/hear somebody whistling while they work it is usually a manual worker.

It's a bit rich, a bunch of cyclists complaining how modern car engines are complex, impossible to repair yourself, and painful to get fixed by someone else: just compare the 'engine' on a typical bicycle!
