You need something to do,
I thought I was bad with the most posts, but you my jolley tar are sad
Hello Horizon! Not heard from you for a while.
Puzzles me, this one. 129 users. Generally there's only about half a dozen at any one time.
Does anyone keep a list of who's online at any one time?
Do you think it could be hyjackers?
As a matter of interest, I subscribe to another forum (no, it's not bike related, it's to do with Apple Mac computers) that have loads of members, and I quote as of now:
You are logged in as Mick F
1202024 Registered User(s)
There are 5 registered and 53 anonymous users online.
1.2 million! Good grief!!!!

.
Has someone been wheeling the server past any traffic lights recently? There's a set locally that makes my cycle computer say I've been cycling at 96mph or thereabouts.
There shall be only one pannier

1 July 2007 was our ruby wedding anniversary. I cannot see any connection with the record number of users the following day. Incidentally, at the place where we celebrated, when the maitre d' brought us our complimentary kir royale (red coloured) he remarked how he could not imagine how anybody might stay married for 25 years.

Just resurrecting this.
Have you seen the figure now?
Most users ever online was 867 on 22:02 Fri 03 May, 2013
867 users all at once?

But how many of them are real "members" so to speak? At the bottom of this page it currently says "Users browsing this forum: Audax67, BeeKeeper and 9 guests" A few moments ago "Bing [Bot]" was also looking in. I would hazard the "guests" are people who aren't logged in and/or registered. They could be regular "lurkers" or just random people who found their way here by search engine and possibly disappear never to be seen again.
The details for the Board Index page are even more striking, currently it says: "In total there are 111 users online :: 19 registered, 0 hidden and 92 guests (based on users active over the past 5 minutes)" We are outnumbered by guests - what a hospitable lot we are.

It's the same the whole world over
It's the poor what gets the blame
It's the rich what gets the pleasure
Isn't it a blooming shame?
